Caregiver Training
There are regular Domestic Helpers Trainings, conducted in English or Malay, that we provide for foreign domestic helpers caring for people with dementia. With effect from Aug 2011 to Mar 2012, domestic helpers who are interested to attend the trainings can tap on Caregiver Training Grant (CTG) by completing the CTG Application form. A co-payment of $10 per person is required (include refreshments & course materials).
Registration Process
1. Interested participants are required to complete the CTG Application form.
2. Please take note and complete the following mandatory sections on the form:
a. Particulars of Caregiver (Page 1)
b. Particulars of Person Needing Care (Page 1)
c. Applicants & PNC's signature (Page 2 - Applicants can sign on behalf of the PNC)
d. Under "Is the PNC a member or receiving service from any Voluntary Welfare Organisation (VWO)?", applicants are required to choose 'YES' or 'NO'. Applicants MUST submit the necessary documents as specified by Centre for Enabled Living (CEL).
(a) If 'No' - To submit a copy of the doctor’s certification stating the nature of disability
(b) If 'Yes' - verification to be completed by VWO
3. Please submit the completed CTG Application form, doctor's certification (if required), and a copy of the PNC's NRIC 10 days before the training date. Kindly email them to mazni@alz.org.sg

Our Caregiver Support Centre runs support groups in English, Mandarin and Malay.
